The lake, the gorge and the mountains on foot from our house
Stara Fužina is a village at the eastern end of Lake Bohinj, inside Triglav National Park. The shop and the museum are round the corner, and a path across the meadows takes you to the lake.

Hikes into Triglav National Park
From Stara Fužina, paths lead through the Mostnica gorge into the Voje valley and up to the mountain pastures above Bohinj.
Winter: Vogel
The Vogel cable car is 8 minutes away by car. Leave your skis in our storage room.
How to find us
From Ljubljana take the motorway to the Lesce exit, then drive through Bled and Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake. Trains run to Bohinjska Bistrica, and from there a bus goes to Stara Fužina.

Open in Google Maps- When you reach Lake Bohinj, turn right over the bridge and past the church.
- You are soon in Stara Fužina. Follow the main road uphill past the Triglav apartments.
- After 150 metres, turn left at the chapel.
- The third house on the right is ours. Park at the house.
